Central Catholic High School A.F.R.O.

The founding fathers of this team named it the Alliance of Frisbee Revolutionaries in Oakland, A.F.R.O. for short. Begun during the 1998-1999 school year at Central Catholic High School in the Oakland neighborhood, the program has grown to become a popular winter and springtime interscholastic sport. In 2014, the program evolved into a three-season sport and received "Lettering Club Sport" status the same year, propelling the team and the sport further. A.F.R.O competes in the Pittsburgh High School Ultimate Leage (PHUL). Coached by Head Coach Gregory Thomas, this team is bound for continued excellence.
